Tracka2b. (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the website and the Tracka2b mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”).

We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. DEFINITIONS

    Service means the website and the Tracka2b mobile application operated by us.

Personal Data

Usage Data

Location Data

We may use and store information about your location if you give us permission to do so (“Location Data”). We use this data to provide features of our Service, to improve and customize our Service.

You can enable or disable location services when you use our Service at any time by way of your device settings.

We may use your real-time location-based information (for example, GPS). This is used to provide a location of your phone in comparison to other tracking devices purely for your convenience.

We may collect and process the geolocation data regarding any vehicles which you have subscribed to our services. Details of this data are shown below:

  • Geolocation data is a record of where a vehicle is at any given moment. If Geolocation data is gathered for a period of time it can be used to show where a vehicle has been, the direction it was travelling and the time when it made those journeys.
  • Geolocation data is recorded when your tracking system is activated. If your system is properly installed and has not been tampered with we are able to activate and deactivate the system remotely. The system will be activated whenever our agreement with you obliges or allows us to try and track a vehicle; this is typically done either to test the correct operation of the system or when you, the police or your insurance company contact us to report that the vehicle has been stolen.
  • Geolocation data will no longer be recorded when the tracking system is deactivated. You may request for the system to be deactivated in this way.
  • Geolocation data is key to our services. As such, if you refuse to allow us to gather geolocation data or request that the system is deactivated we will be unable to provide you with those services.

Tracking & Cookies Data

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and we hold certain information.

Cookies are files with a small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device. Other tracking technologies are also used such as beacons, tags and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze our Service.

You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service.

  • Session Cookies. We use Session Cookies to operate our Service.

USE OF DATA

We use the collected data for various purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our Service
  • To notify you about changes to our Service
  • To allow you to participate in interactive features of our Service when you choose to do so

  • To track the location of vehicles which you have subscribed to our services. In particular, to allow you to view the movements of your vehicle when the system has been activated.

RETENTION OF DATA

We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

We will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer periods.

Geolocation data from the previous six (3) months will be available through your account on the website and the Tracka2b mobile application operated by us. We archive geolocation data which is more than six (3) months old. Archived data will be provided to you within thirty (30) working days of a written request.

TRANSFER OF DATA

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.

If you are located outside United States of America and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to the United States of America and process it there.

Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

We will take all the steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.

DISCLOSURE OF DATA

Disclosure for Law Enforcement

Under certain circumstances, we may be required to disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).

  • Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service

  • Aid with Police investigations. For example, we may provide the Police with geolocation data regarding a vehicle which has been reported as stolen or recordings of telephone calls you have made to us
  • Fulfill any purpose for which you provide the information
  • A buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation or similar proceeding, in which personal information about the Service’s users is among the assets transferred

We may, without restriction, disclose aggregated information about our users and information that does not identify any individual.

SECURITY OF DATA

The security of your data is important to us but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

All communications through our website are sent over SSL/TLS connections. Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and Transport Layer Security (TLS) technology protect communications by using both server authentication and data encryption. This ensures that user data in transit is safe, secure, and available only to intended recipients.

Sensitive user data, such as account passwords and email addresses, are stored in encrypted format.

NOTICE TO CALIFORNIA CUSTOMERS

Subject to certain limitations under California Civil Code § 1798.83, if you are a California resident, you may ask us to provide you with (i) a list of certain categories of personal information that we have disclosed to certain third parties for their direct marketing purposes during the immediately preceding calendar year and (ii) the identity of certain third parties that received personal information from us for their direct marketing purposes during that calendar year. OUR POLICY ON “DO NOT TRACK” SIGNALS UNDER THE CALIFORNIA ONLINE PROTECTION ACT (CALOPPA)

We do not support Do Not Track (“DNT”). Do Not Track is a preference you can set in your web browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked.

You can enable or disable Do Not Track by visiting the Preferences or Settings page of your web browser.

DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT

We store the Service information described above on our servers. To permanently delete your information, please follow these steps:

  • Log out from your account and delete the Tracka2b App from your device.
  • Write to us at support@tracka2b.nl and ask us to delete your account. We will then delete your account within thirty (30) working days of a written request. Given how our backup systems work, your data may remain in our backups for some time after we delete it from our servers.

SERVICE PROVIDERS

We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service (“Service Providers”), provide the Service on our behalf, perform Service-related services or assist us in analysing how our Service is used.

These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

Analytics

We may use third-party Service Providers to monitor and analyse the use of our Service.

  • Google Analytics
    Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18 (“Children”).

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the “effective date” at the top of this Privacy Policy.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
